They are not "rebels" they are terrorists with blood on their hands. I wonder UK media also think that their subway was bombed by "rebels" also....

Brits being Brits- bizarrely romantic and probably seeing this as another country's misery is they TV show .. - Sorry Rick , you know what I mean : ) -

The news are still coming in and so far no casualties from civilians has been reported . For the information of the "curious minds" . I also follow Al- Jazeera TV, here- not only " one sided" Turkish media -..

PKK IS A WORLD WIDE RECOGNIZED TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT THEIR ACTIVITIES ARE ALSO AS GUILTY.

I will personally report the supporters in this forum to Turkish authorities for the obtaining of their IP numbers from Yahoo.

This is a fare warning.

The Kurds, who number roughly 20 million in four countries, have their own culture, their own language, and history, but they have no state. Turkey wants to assimilate the Kurds in western Turkey, and has gone so far as to outlaw their language. Obviously, the Kurds want their own state: they're the largest ethnic group without one. Enter the PKK, a Marxist group which has tried both peaceful and violent means to get their own state. They began terror attacks against Turkey and Turkish interests in the early 1990s. In 2004, the PKK leader called for a cease-fire, but more it didn't last long, as some hard-liners began additional terror attacks against civilian targets, including bus stops, tourist areas, and gov't facilities. Trouble is Turkey's answer to fighting PKK terrorism is to attack both military and civilian targets in the Kurdish region. So to answer your question, yes, the Turks need to crush the rebellion, but in doing so, they need to target the PKK, not fire missiles indiscriminately into Kurdish areas. They also need to let the Kurds be autonomous, whether within Turkey or in an independent Kurdistan.

It was about time. Northern Iraqi Kurds know quite well that the Turkish Army will not harm them, unless of course they give concrete support to the terrorists.

As for the PKK in London, well, it's up to the UK gov. to solve her own problem. Some western governments just love to 'give political asylum' to some poor poor suffering people! But we say that the snake will someday turn and bite you too. They better watch out.

Turkish air force is the best in the world so far. They know what they are doing. They don't 'accidentally' bomb their own men or civilians (as often happens in other parts of Iraq).

Doesn't bother me what they call them as long as they keep bombing them.

You have to read between the lines with the BBC. they never lie but sometimes they leave out info on purpose . I don't know why.

For example the truth could be . "Turkish planes bomb village occupied by PKK killing several PPK fighters one of which was female".

Apparently the most accurate news comes from Aljazeera.

Thanks I pek. but like I say I have no idea why they call them rebels here. the only people who support them in UK are the Kurds in Haringey you can even see posters of Apo there.

The Brits understand what the PKK are about and there will be no love lost once they have been destroyed.

Once the Turks have strung up the PKK in Iraq and Turkey is there any chance of cleaning up Haringey ?

they`re bombing the mountainous areas, and the only inhabitants there are animals and terrorists who live in caves. The only place in where innocent civilians get killed in Iraq is the south of the country, and guess who is responsible for that.

I suggest BBC give jobs to these poor rebels. Unemployment does ugly things to one's mental health. Just look at Alanna for an example.

And Slick Rick can take refuge in Turkey when PKK "freedom fighters" become a mainstream phenomenon in British culture.

Edit: The troll Rampage isnot Turkish.

We all know these terrorists sneak in from Iraq and Syria , there not even the nationals of Turkey.

For BBC to use a phase such as,Kurdish rebellions, are misrepresenting ,there are terrorists , who cross borders in to a sovereign country where they don't belong , and terrorise it's residents

You're %100 right.

Turkey's problem is with PKK, not Kurds. The places where Turkey is bombing, are empty. People moved from there before. Also there aren't any injured people in the hospitals in Iraq.

I'm not surprised for BBC is the official voice of one of our mightiest enemies, and it is natural that they call their puppets "guerillas". It is too early to comment now, maybe it was a PKK lair or maybe it was a mistake. We make less mistakes than the US and brits combined in iraq though, I can assure you of that.

Rebels:-))))

If people with high tec weapons and guns with an organized army and booth camp that trains them is called rebels then i think i should check the english dictionary again to find the explanation of "terrorist"

Is this a lie too?

"The villagers are now scared

and are hiding in nearby caves,

They lost all their properties,"

What the hell is turkey's plan?

They bombed a month ago

and there has been no PKK

retaliation so why is this

continuing? Think on that

for awhile.
